What are the costs if I make the winning bid?
Sales are made in cash, by debit card, by bank transfer, or via an online payment method. A 29.5% premium is added (25% premium for coins and banknotes). Purchased lots will only be handed over or shipped after payment has been made. You can collect your purchase free of charge from one of our more than 150 locations or opt for home delivery (the costs of which depend on the lot won and the choice of carrier). Goudwisselkantoor organizes several silver auctions each year, where interested buyers can bid on jewelry from the catalog. Each piece is checked in advance by specialists for authenticity and quality. You can view the items at your leisure in our online catalog and during the viewing days. The auctions take place in various forms: most auctions are live auctions. You are welcome to attend these auctions in the auction room, but you can also bid online. We also regularly hold online-only and timed online auctions, in which you can only bid online.
Can I view the (silver) items in advance?
That is certainly possible. A few days prior to the auction, we organize viewing days. You are welcome to come and view the items being auctioned in our showroom in Klaaswaal. We like to keep these viewing days accessible: the atmosphere is relaxed and no appointment is necessary. Our experts will personally answer all your questions about the items, as well as about bidding and buying at auction.
